Whether an intimate escape for two or an entire family gathering, a wedding and reception can be arranged in a number of enchanting locations throughout Italy. Italia Gastronomica have selected some of the most suggestive and romantic locations, ranging from a small renaissance church and annexed villa on the shores of Lake Maggiore to a picturesque country house in the hills of Monferrato.
Despite many other wedding planners, we can not only organise all the elements of the ceremony and the reception, but - because of our specialisation in wine and food holidays in Italy- we pay
special attention to the banquet.
Remember that legal and administrative procedures make it advisable to book a wedding ceremony and reception at least
3 months in advance.
We take care of every detail:
- choice of location for the religious and/or civil ceremony
- full detailed itinerary
- contact priest
- provision of an interpreter, if necessary
- document handling with Italian authorities
- delivery of wedding certificate to home address
- flower compositions including bridal bouquet, boutonniere and
corsage
- music for ceremony and reception
- transportation by limousines, vintage cars, horse-drawn

- choice of the location for the reception and restaurant and
catering service
- consultation for, and co-ordination of the menu choice

It will be possible to access online (access with ID and password for operators only) a detailed form to be completed with the bride and groom’s personal details as well as personal details about both sets of parents.
Within 48 hours of receipt of this form, we will get back to tour operator/travel agent with a proposal and rough cost estimates.
Weddings can only be arranged if accommodations (whether honeymoon, pre-wedding stay or guests’ accommodations) are booked through Italia Gastronomica.
