The food and wine was incredibly good, the people were marvellous everywhere, the accommodation was outstanding. The dinner in the Michelin star restaurant was out-of-this-world!

The feedback received about the trip to Lake Maggiore has been very positive. We really appreciated the Borromeo castle and the Doll Museum at Angera, it was a pity we didn’t have more time available. The visit to the cheese tasting cellar was really very good. The artisans were very kind and ready to talk. The tasting was excellent as was the guided visit. In the end, we took advantage of our visit to buy cheese, honey and some other things. We also had a very good time at the restaurant, aperitif, dinner and everything

Hello Federica, the trip went really well and the cookery lesson with the chef was marvellous to say the least!

The hotel in Rome was just what we needed. The cooking class was beyond fantastic. The visit to the Pope was interesting. The guide and the driver were so accommodating and informative for the catacomb and historical and Christian Rome. The gal who took us around the Vatican was superb and had a great passion for art and she showed me exactly the sculptures and art work that I have worked with digitally, but now had the opportunity to see in the original. Such a marvelous way to cater to both of our desires. The food was fantastic.

Dear Federica, Just a quick note to say that I have just returned and had the best time on the truffle hunt tour, we were the only people on the tour that day (as I suspected) and the lady that runs the farm house was just fantastic, she made us the most beautiful food (tons and tons of it!) and let my son make his own gelato – which he has not stopped talking about!!  Later that day she offered to accompany us to a nearby town where some friends of hers have a small private truffle museum.  On the hunt we found 4 truffles and she let me keep the biggest one to take back to my hotel (to have with scrambled eggs) in addition to the huge truffle meal she prepared.  Also the first night where we had to drive to Perugia for the aperitif was very nice too – they were so accommodating, as my son can't have hazelnuts and all of the chocolate had hazelnuts in some form or other, so the long drive there was worth it.

I can HIGHLY recommend it to anybody that has the slightest interest in good Italian food and likes truffles.  I wasn't too keen on driving (as you may remember) but once I got behind the wheel of the cute little banana car fiat cinquecento I got used to it!
